“The Flash”: Season 6 Sneak Peek Revealed- New Harrison “Nash” Wells

the new season of The Flash is underway, which means it’s time for Team Flash to welcome another version of Harrison Wells into the fold.

That moment arrives in the new episode Dead Man Running, as Tom Cavanagh returns to the series to bring Harrison “Nash” Wells to life. Check out the exclusive piece to know everything about at the first encounter between our heroes and this Indiana Jones-inspired treasure hunter.

In his own words

This clip gives us a much better idea of how this Wells compares to the other incarnations of the character and what puts him in the path of Team Flash after showrunner Eric Wallace called him a sensual adventurer, a swashbuckler who lives a life of intrigue at San Diego Comic-Con.

It would seem Barry and the gang aren’t actively trying to recruit a Wells this time, but instead discover him crossing between universes and hunting treasure like some sort of cosmic Indy. It’s also clear this Wells and Cisco won’t immediately get along.

The most interesting takeaway from this scene is that Wells seems to have recovered one of the more powerful artifacts in the DC Universe, the dream-manipulating ruby used by Morpheus of The Sandman fame.

This is the second Sandman-related item we’ve seen in the Arrowverse, following the Book of Destiny playing a big role in last year’s “Elseworlds” crossover.

Whether we’ll actually see Morpheus and his family in the Arrowverse remains to be seen but this does suggest Nash Wells has a crucial role to play in the coming Crisis.

Something everyone’s been waiting for

If so, that crossover will be keeping Cavanagh very busy. He’ll also be playing cosmic scientist Pariah during Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Cavanagh is part of a massive ensemble cast that also includes Jon Cryer’s version of Lex Luthor from Supergirl, Kevin Conroy’s Bruce Wayne, characters from Black Lightning, Johnathon Schaech’s Jonah Hex, and plenty more comic book characters from across the DC TV multiverse.
