Jon Watts of Spiderman: Far From Home finished with an after credit scene which paved the way for the MCU Phase 4. Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Agent Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) had disclosed themselves to be shockingly Skrulls after defying Mysterio and securing E.D.I.T.H. technology. Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are now tapping more Skrulls.

When McKenna and Sommers talked about Skrulls hiding in the clear view and if more of the famous faces of a franchise might disguise themselves as a shapeless alien, “It’s certainly possible. We didn’t write anything, or we haven’t planned anything for our own purposes, but I think that definitely, it opens up a very exciting world of possibility.”

The usually villainous Skrulls have been disclosed by Captain Marvel as downtrodden refugees. In contrast to its fellow comics bookmen, the Skrulls of the MCU seem to be working with Fury (for now) and could even be making a difference with the introduction to S.W.O.R.D.

Watt’s earlier confirmation that the real fury was at the funeral of Tony Stark, but that doesn’t mean that the other Skrulls were not disguised for much longer.
