Ghibli is the next big name that comes after Disney when we talk about Animations. The founder of Studio Ghibli, Hayao Miyazaki is credited for the 10 most successful animated movies in Japan. So it became a big deal when Netflix UK, one of the most popular OTT platforms globally, announced that it would be streaming few Studio Ghibli movies on its platform.
The collaboration is being considered as a successful one already. A total of 21 Studio Ghibli productions are all set to get aired on the media streaming giant and be available to the audience. 7 of the 21 announced are already streaming on Netflix while 14 are getting streamlined.
