Netflix: “Haunting Of Hill House” Season 2: What Could Be Expect From This Season So Far

The return of the Haunting of Hill House Season 2 has been announced but not as a sequel. Mike Flanagan, the creator of the horror series has revealed that the story will not continue about the Crain family and instead will be about The Turn of the Screw.

Just like how season 1 was based on Shirley Jackson’s 1959 novel, season 2 will recreate the famous tales of Henry James: The Haunting of Bly Manor.

The Haunting of Bly Manor: Release Date

Recently the logo of The Haunting of Bly Manor was revealed on Instagram in the form of a spooky gif.

The caption announced that season 2 of one of the best horror series on Netflix is all set to be released in 2020. No date has been confirmed by the team yet but based on a recent tweet by Flanagan suggested that season two is in the advanced stage of production and may not take much time to hit the Netflix screens.

As per the promotion standards of Netflix, the trailer of the show can be expected a month before the release.

Haunting of Hill House Season 2: Cast

Despite the new setting and the new story some of the old faces would be returning with the show but obviously in new roles.

Victoria Pedretti and Oliver Jackson-Cohen, who had played the roles of Nellie Crain and her twin Luke, respectively in 2018 horror show have been confirmed to return with season 2.

If reports are to be believed then Victoria Pedretti would be seen in the role of a governess of Peter, who will be a resident of the Bly Manor played by Oliver Jackson-Cohen. Along with them, Henry Thomas will also be making a comeback.

What To Expect?

As an adaptation of the 1898 novel of Henry James, the story will be about a Governess taking care of two kids in a large house in a remote area.

Given how Season 2 is not being directed by Mike Flanagan but by a set of new directors whom he will support, the story-telling would be interesting to see.
