Honor President Zhao Ming has asserted that a 5G-connected Honor V30 will be inaugurated next month.
Ming did not commit to a particular date in November but said that the device will support Stand Alone and Non-Stand Alone variants and hinted that this device will target a young crowd.
According to rumors, the Honor V30 Pro will be the 5G variant in the lineup. It will utilize the Kirin 990 5G chipset, which captions an integrated modem. The phone will possess a 60MP camera on the back and an OLED screen with twin punch holes on the front.
The Honor V30 is anticipated to use the 4G edition of the Kirin 990 and an LCD with aa sole punch hole.
Charging will be sluggisher – 22.5W wired and no wireless for the vanilla variant, 40W wired and 15W wireless for the Pro.
Another benefit of the Pro is that it will give birth to a quad-camera while the vanilla variant will settle for a triple camera. The functionality of every camera has not been comprehensive yet.
The two Honor V30 variants will be powered by the flagship Kirin 990 chipset with a single key difference – the Pro model will get the Kirin 990 5G.
As you may remember, besides 5G connectivity, this chip is created on the new 7nm+ EUV process and stars higher clock speeds and an extra NPU core.
Report that neither V30 model will be prepared to use Google Play Services. Not that this will necessarily prevent Honor from launching them exterior of China.
The Honor V30 Pro will possess a bigger battery with faster charging to boot – 4,200mAh and 40W SuperCharge in improvement to 15W wireless charging. The V30 will get 4,000mAh and 22.5W SuperCharge instead, with no wireless charging.
