Microsoft has announced the slate of free Xbox One and Xbox 360 games that will be freely available to all Xbox Live Gold subscribers in November, and it’s not much better than October’s.
Microsoft has been offering lately versus Sony’s free games for PS Plus subscribers, it’s impossible to not see the large gulf between the 2.
These are always some combination of Xbox One games with either Xbox 360 or original Xbox games. This month we have all three.
Also, unlike most months, I haven’t played a single one of these, so I can’t tell you much about them.
We have a Sherlock Holmes detective adventure; a 2D train platformer; an old Star Wars game; and a race-car game. Something for everyone, in other words.
That said, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter could also be a fun Xbox game, and although I’ve never played it, The Final Station looks like a fascinating indie title and will definitely be accessorial to my library once it goes free.
You’ll save over $89 if you choose up all four games, and can add up to 2200 points to your gamerscore.
Also, detain mind that each of the Xbox 360 titles unit backward compatible with the Xbox One, therefore although you don’t have AN Xbox 360 reachable, you can still transfer all four games listed on top of.
And as always, some of last month’s free games are still available if you hurry, so be sure to download them before they go back to being paid.
I must admit, this is a rather lackluster month for Xbox. I’m sure these are all fine games, but nothing here is a “must play” as far as I can tell.
Sony, meanwhile, is offering up two really great titles for PlayStation Plus subscribers. You can see those right here.
