Samsung 2021 A Series Smartphones Trademarks Filed.
Due to the competition in the mid-range smartphone market, Samsung is already planning to rock the same in 2021 by filing trademarks for the 2021 Galaxy A series of smartphones in 2019.
According to a recent leak, Samsung has filed for a total of 9 trademarks with the EU. These trademark names are Samsung A12, A22, A32, A42, A52, A62, A72 and A92.
The trademarks don’t mention the term Galaxy with the model names, but the description of the trademarks confirms that the names are registered for smartphones. All of them are expected to release in 2021.
The new trademarks were registered for the 2021 Galaxy A Series smartphones by Samsung. As for the 2020 A series devices, Samsung is rumored to release three smartphones in the upcoming year.
These will be called the Galaxy A51, Galaxy A71, and Galaxy A91 respectively. These will ship with Android 10 with Samsung’s One UI 2.0 skin.
The Galaxy A91 is rumored to be in the works and will have the model number SM-A915F. The device will be powered by the flagship-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and will have 8GB RAM.
The display on the A91 is rumored to be a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Infinity-U display. It is also expected to support 45 watts fast charging. There will be a 128GB internal storage option, which could be expanded to 512 GB using a microSD card.
There will be three cameras on the Galaxy A91 with the primary snapper having a resolution of 48MP with optical image stabilization. The two other cameras will be a 5MP depth sensor as well as a 12MP ultra-wide angle shooter.
The Galaxy A91 is expected to launch by the end of 2019 and will be a major contender in the budget smartphone market in 2020. The Galaxy A51, as well as the Galaxy A71, are expected to go on sale in 2020 at a lower price point than the Galaxy A91.
